Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information skreembeauty.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read rather than skimmed past.

Who We Are

SKREEM Beauty, Inc. is a makeup artistry business based in Los Angeles, California, founded and led by Kiersten Harvey. For anything in this policy, contact info@skreembeauty.com.

What This Site Collects

This site has no account system, no shop and no newsletter signup. There is nothing to log in to and nothing to buy.

• Information you send us. If you email the address listed on this site, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write. We use it to answer you and to keep a record of the inquiry. We do not sell it, rent it, or add it to a marketing list.
• Analytics. We may use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they open, and roughly where in the world they are. This is reported to us in aggregate. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.
• Meta Pixel. This site runs the Meta Pixel, a piece of code from Meta Platforms, Inc., the company behind Facebook, Instagram and Threads. When you open a page here, it reports that visit to Meta along with your IP address, your browser and device information, and the page you viewed. Meta may match that visit to a Facebook or Instagram account if you have one. We use it to understand which posts and ads bring people to this site, and to reach visitors with our own advertising on Meta platforms. We do not use it to collect names, email addresses, payment details or any information you type into this site, and we have not configured it to track anything beyond page views.
• Hosting records. Our host keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability. These are not used for marketing.

Cookies And Browser Storage

This site stores one thing in your own browser: whether you chose the Blanc or Noir view. It is saved locally on your device, it contains no personal information, it is never transmitted to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Where Google Analytics is active, it sets its own cookies to recognize returning visits and measure traffic. You can block or delete those through your browser settings, or through Google’s own opt-out tools, without affecting how this site works.

The Meta Pixel also sets its own cookies, and reads a Meta cookie already in your browser if you are signed in to Facebook or Instagram. You can limit this through your browser settings, through your Meta account’s Ads Preferences and “Off-Facebook activity” controls, or by blocking third-party cookies. None of it affects how this site works.

Who Else Is Involved

A small number of services make this site function. They handle data under their own policies.

• Netlify, which hosts the site and serves the pages.
• Google, for Analytics and Search Console, where used.
• Meta Platforms, Inc., which receives page-view data through the Meta Pixel described above, and which operates the Facebook, Instagram and Threads accounts linked from this site.
• Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces on this page.

We do not sell personal information to anyone, and we never have. We do share page-view data with Meta through the Meta Pixel, as described above, so that our own advertising can reach people who have visited this site. Some privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, treat that kind of sharing for advertising as its own category, separate from a sale. If you would rather we did not share your visit with Meta, email info@skreembeauty.com and we will honor that, or use the browser and Meta account controls described above.

How Long We Keep Things

Email correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful to the working relationship, and deleted on request. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s standard retention settings, and Meta Pixel data according to Meta’s.

Your Choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@skreembeauty.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have formal rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR. We will honor those requests regardless of whether those laws technically apply to us.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
