SKREEM is Kiersten Harvey, a Los Angeles makeup artist working across editorial, television, red carpet and campaign. She describes her style as campy, glamorous, vibrant and unorthodox, and is known for detailed lip work and graphic color. Her work has appeared on the cover of Dazed and in WWD, and her clients include North West, Lizzo, Doechii and Kylie Cosmetics. She founded SKREEM Beauty, Inc. in 2017.

Kiersten Harvey began in music, spending five years in a childhood singing group in Atlanta where she became fascinated by the artists doing her makeup. She started doing makeup on friends at fifteen, launched her makeup Instagram at seventeen, and was working full time by eighteen. She opened her first studio in College Park, Georgia at nineteen.

She works under the name SKREEM, an acronym for Skilled Knowledge Reflecting Everyone’s Enhanced Muse. Her signature is experimental glam: graphic liner, saturated color, rhinestones, charms and lip work treated as its own discipline, built to read as luxurious rather than costume.

Now based in Los Angeles, her work spans magazine covers, beauty campaigns, television, award season and festival performance. She was profiled by Dazed Beauty for her work on North West’s Dazed cover, and featured in WWD alongside Sam Fine, Katey Denno and Ngozi Edeme.
